I’m totally obsessed with zombies. I’ve felt like one lately, because I have been working crazy shifts at work (you probably have heard me complain about it lately).

Anyway, for no reason whatsoever, I drew one and it sucks. It’s so laughable that I thought I’d post it here just for fun. The pen i was using was not good for drawing, and I’m not that great of an artist to begin with. This was the result.

I decided to keep at it, and I found a better pen. Below is the second attempt. This guy originally had a head, but it sucked so I removed it. I hope you can tell, that the first one wasn’t a good representation. The following should be much better…

You may notice that all my music and stuff has been deleted. I had to delete my music subdirectory because I was sharing some files of albums THAT I ACTUALLY OWN to myself so I could download them and listen to them at work. Unfortunately, that same directory contained my own music; that is original music that I wrote, recorded, and produced all by myself. My hosting company didn’t seem to care, and wanted me to delete the entire folder. Whatever. Anyway that’s why the links are broken. I’m not sure how much of this stuff I have backed up, but we’ll see what I can find.

So, I upgraded to the new WordPress version. I had some problems logging in at first, but then I realized I forgot to disable my Akismet plugin. After I termed that plugin, I logged in and applied the new Akismet plugin and I’m up and going.

I think I’ll let The Wife see how this one works and see if she’s ready to upgrade or not. Personally, I think the word count and auto draft saves are reason enough to upgrade.

So our over-the-range microwave died. It blew up. Literally, the heating unit popped and the entire motor started growling. It was not a good experience, but luckily nobody got any shrapnel in the eye or anything. Needless to say, having 2 three-year-olds, you can not exist without a microwave. I don’t care what anyone else says about “the olden days”. Three-year-olds require hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, and chicken nuggets heated in the microwave and if anyone else says otherwise, they’re lying.

I wish I would have taken a pic of the old one while it was still hanging up, but here is the old microwave.

Here is the big gaping hole where the old brackets used to hang. Of course, because my luck works the way it does, the old brackets were nothing like what was needed to hang the new unit…so I had to pull EVERYTHING off and start from scratch.

Next, I hung the brackets and lifted that new shiny stainless steel unit all my myself. [Picture me flexing my muscles. Go ahead, do it.] I drilled all of the required holes, and hung that sucker like nobody’s business.

It totally makes me want to buy a stainless steel range. The Wife already has ideas for a range, dishwasher, and refrigerator…she loves to spend money. Me? I’m cool with it, but our TV is on the fritz (tubes are going bad, most likely) and the monitor on our main computer is going out (because it’s an LCD from like 10 years ago).

Priorities brother, priorities.

Well, today is like my 19th or 20th day of SlimSlow for breakfast and SlimSlow for lunch.
This morning, I mixed a half-scoop of chocolate with a half-scoop of vanilla and it tasted like a malted milkshake. It’s pretty good actually. Anyway, I’m about 15 pounds less than I was at my last Dr.’s appointment. I’m don’t really care what I weigh overall, I just want three things out of the deal:

1) to fit comfortably in an airplane seat
2) to not have to sit in the fat-guy seat on a roller coaster
3) to be able to take my shirt off in public without feeling like “that guy”

I’m working on it.
